Sidekick is an embodied assistant built for using AI on Apple Vision Pro.
With Sidekick, users quickly get an answer without needing to switch contexts or interrupt their workflow.
This seamless multitasking experience is made possible by visionOS and built on the foundational concept of the Shared Space.
Within a spatial computing environment, traditional AI assistants can be tedious to use, and not adapted to this new paradigm. With Sidekick, users can now simply glance at their assistant and start talking.

Features
Sidekick is a free app with a credit system. Users receive 15 free credits per month, and can subscribe for more. There are also in-app purchases for the Appearances.
Conversation
Sidekick provides responses verbally, can remember previous discussions, and leverage the user’s name dynamically in conversation. Conversations can be held in any language. The UI is available in 5 languages.
Personality
Give Sidekick a name, a role to embody, a tone to use, or go even further with custom instructions. Tell Sidekick how to call and address you.
Appearance
In spatial computing, embodied characters inhabiting the user’s space must feel personal and unique. We’ve designed and brought to life two models, with more coming in development.
Privacy-first
On our servers, we designed an end-to-end encrypted architecture in Swift, to provide complete security and anonymity, ensuring that no one can track individual requests. This technology is relatively rare.
Quick Actions
Conversational AI is an exceptional input, however the experience must allow for interaction with the responses : we designed Quick Copy, Tell Me More and History, to allow interoperability with other apps, or the Virtual Display.
As a productivity device, Apple Vision Pro astounded us, and inspired us to reimagine how people interact with AI and world knowledge in this new paradigm.
Our design therefore revolves around the idea of reducing the friction of looking for information.
While Sidekick excels at enhancing productivity, we believe it can benefit every Apple Vision Pro user, even those who don’t use it for work. Our early users are also putting it to use as a helpful assistant for tasks around the home.
The experience is powered by a custom back-end service designed with robust privacy features.
